Best White Boy.

My Best Gangstar Friend had a birthday a while back, and her present from me was this Music Video. Since we started hanging out, she would call me her best white boy. Since I was really her only white friend and being the best at being white. I am called the Best White Boy or BWB for short. I went to House Warming Partying she was having and all of her family and friends were there. She would introduce me by my first name and then my nick name she gave me. Apparently after meeting me once everyone since then has been asking me and wondering when the hell I would ever come over again. I'm trying to make a visit, but it's been kind of hard with have two jobs and still trying to make payments. But, I will visit them again and I can't wait.

You can download the song if you want.

My Lullaby.

When I was a baby my dad wrote me a Lullaby. I believe it was played on a 12 String SG Gibson. Of course he is playing it with a slide. He showed me this a few years ago and I just came across it again. I like it, even though I don't get what he was trying to say with this song. I don't understand the song and why it's my Lullaby, but it has my name on it. So, it's mine to keep and own.

Parker's Lullaby

Snowmergency.

This was taken with a 60 second exposure at 2am. Power was out for a few hours. I went into American Eagle for work and a 1/3 of the mall is still powerless. What can you do.

Candy + American Eagle = Art.

Life Savers.

I was talking to one of my co-workers at American Eagle and I said how he was such a Life Saver. Probably because he helped me out in some small way and it got me thinking about candy.

Everybody Is Fucked, But It's Ok.

This album took about 4 years to write. Mostly due to the problems I had and the tons of moving. When I landed in Lima, Peru with my Dad. I had a lot of time on my hands and I began to record and polish some songs up. It's mostly a instrumental album. This idea was mostly a test and a practice run to see if I could pull it off and write some cool themes and play around.

Here is a taste of one of the many genres in the album.

Metro Town.

Sky & I

I fucking love this photo. It just brings back so many memories of being in that mall "Metro Town". We would rarely ever hang out. But when we did, it was extreme. We would hang out for 10 hours straight on a Saturday. I remembered hanging at the mall and riding the Millenium Line from Metrotown all the way around Twice.

One time we were hanging out at the mall and we were listening to each others ipods. I noticed she had Suck Great Heights by The Postal Service and I had the Iron & Wine cover version. I got the great idea to listen to them at the same time and see what they sounded like. Later, I edited them together on a track and it sounds like this.

Here are some photos I took from one of our many epic hang outs.

Home.

I was about 6 years old when this photo was taken of me. You can't see it, but I'm standing on 2 recycle bins and playing a personal show for my parents. I don't remember giving this show but I do remember that guitar. One day I was bored and I drew a epic drawing on the back of the guitar. It was a boat in this strong storm and lightning. I believe there were snakes on the boat. I drew it with markers and if you were to touch it, it would smudge and so within a few days it was gone.

I always look at this photo from time to time. I reminds me where I came from. A kid that didn't know what notes were and playing on a shit guitar on recycle bins.

Now, I know how to play guitar and have played on a real stage with 100's watching me. A lot has changed but, I still love music and when I pick up a guitar or listen to music. I feel like I am home.

A Day In The House.

Chris has been sick the last couple of days and I snagged a great photo of him sleeping with our cat Marcel.

Then I began to hang around upstairs because I have my GF's camera and I like taking photos.

Being Artistic with the GF.

The GF and I wanted to be artistic for a day. We decided to go to Adams Morgan to take photos and draw. We planned on meeting at Takoma Station.

The GF spotted a place called Open City, a cafe she heard about. I bought lunch and while we were waiting for the tables we began to be artistic. I took some photos while she drew.

We were seated and Kial was having a hard time trying to figure out what to eat, maybe because I didn't want to spend that much.

After eating we took a walk down Calvert Street and found some cool things.

It was freaking cold and we hid away in a StarBucks and took some photos and drew.

Kial wanted to get to that awesome punk store, so we went off again in search of this awesome punk store. We found it and met this really awesome chick that is into a lot of interesting things. I got a Dead Kennedy's belt buckle. Then we headed off back to my place to chill for a bit. And that was the awesome being artistic day.

Shark Week!

During Shark Week on The Discovery Channel last year, they had this big ass balloon thing on the top of their building at Silver Spring. Their Discovery Communications building thing. Anyways, this balloon thing was of a shark. No Surprise There! This is was before Chris and I were roommates, so I would always go up to his place to hang out weekly. When I would pass the Silver Spring station I would see this thing from the Train and I had my Wacom Tablet and I started to draw the first thing that came into my head. I drew up a quick sketch of it on the train and finished it when I got to Chris's place.

Chris: Do You Like Car Rides?

Chris and I got a ride back to the house after the meeting he went to. So, as Chris was playing music on the his River, I stole these shots.

I also filmed some stuff and made a new video and wrote the music that night. It is a new record for me, I shot the video, wrote and recorded the music and posted it on my YouTube Page within 5 hours. Normally it take me about 2 days to do all of that, I would record the music the first night, then shoot the video the next day, edit it and then post it. Both, Post-It Stamps and Bon Dia were 2 day videos.

After the ride, Chris commented how I like car rides. I replied pretty "Meh!" about it, but now I think about it I really do like car rides. <3
